Hi Blog,

it's been quite a time, hasn't it? Well, it was the valentine's day after Stargirl's departure, and everything changed. I remember the summer after her departure very good. Everything was different, but in a better way, girls started to wear long white dresses. They also started to wear flowers in their hair, but something was missing, a spirit, that we never knew it was there, Stargirl, we didn't realize how much we needed her, until she was gone. The school changed more and more to Stargirl, especially at Valentine's day, when a girl layed a candy heart onto everybody's desk. In this times, everybody was an individual, the sense of popularity was gone, because everybody was a kind of his own. There were many remains of Stargirl in our school, for example our Marchin band is probably the only one in Arizona with a ukulele. And as I already said, how everybody dresses. Stargirl changed me a lot also, she changed my spirit, I don't think of anybody as a nerd, I think of them as gifted people. When I am in the crowd at the basketball games, every time the opposing team makes a score, I cheer for them. She was the water in the ocean (metaphor). One day I saw huge daisy (oxymoron) and thought of Stargirl, what would she could have done while she stayed at school-if we would have listened to her (dash). For me, she was: a change in the winds, the recycler of our garbage, the light of the sun (colon). I hope that I will see her again, and if I will, I will apologize.

Fri, 06 May 2011 01:51:00 -0700 The Ocotillo ball http://moe112.posterous.com/the-ocotillo-ball http://moe112.posterous.com/the-ocotillo-ball

Hi Blog,

this time i'm writing in a different mood about Stargirl than before. I'm regretting, I'm regretting that I went through with the shunning, I regret that I never talked to her.

The ball took place on a Saturday night in late May on the tennis courts of the Mica country club. I arrived there with my date at sunset and  it was a very beautiful night. Many of the boys had chosen a powder blue dinner jacket, after Wayne Parr said that he had chosen one, in the difference, I had chosen a shiny black dinner jacket. Then Stargirl arrived, in a bicycle sidecar. Not very big, but big enough for her to sit in. The whole bicycle and sidecar where covered in flowers. The driver of the bicycle was Dori Dilson, her only remaining friend. When they came to the drop off, where all the parents where taking pictures before, the flashes making the night to a second day. Suddenly the flashing stopped when they saw her, It was the most amazing picture I had ever seen in my live, she wore an amazing dress, so bright yellow, that it seemed as if it was pressed from buttercups, but her hair was even better, for me it looked like the color of honey. She was a sunflower in a crowd of weeds. She walked by, before the gardener realized, that she had no escort (extended methaphor, symbolism). The dancing took place on the center tennis court and Stargirl did what everybody else did, dance, alone, in no ones arms. The night went on and suddenly, me and the other people realized, that we were more alone than she ever was. Then a boy, Raymond Studemacher, walked to her and danced with her. That was like flipping over the first domino stone in a row, because after that, many couples split, and in that moment, Stargirl told the band to play an old rhythm, the bunny hop, and nearly everybody joined in the line, except for Hillari Kimble, her boyfriendand some other people. We hopped through the tennis courts, and over the golf course, we even went on when we didn't hear the music anymore. when we went back, beside the fence, the people that didn't join, formed a line too, and at the end, when the two lines collided, there were lots of hugs and kisses. Hillari Kimble walked up to Stargirl and said:"You ruin everything", and slapped her right in the face, everybody expected her to slap back, but instead, she gave her a kiss on the cheek, by the time Hillari opened her eyes, she was gone. Will she ever come back?(unanswered question).

Sat, 30 Apr 2011 02:28:00 -0700 Stargirl or Susan, which one is the outlaw?? http://moe112.posterous.com/stargirl-or-susan-which-one-is-the-outlaw http://moe112.posterous.com/stargirl-or-susan-which-one-is-the-outlaw

Hi Blog,

I know that it has been a long time since I did a post, but I have a reason, and that reason is that there were a lot of things going on school, like always. It was the boys baketball season and in that season something incredible happened, for the first time in the history of the electrons, we actually were good at basketball, and that probably was, because Stargirl had joined the cheerleaders. We were really good, until we realized that Stargirl was cheering everybody, she cheered, when the ball got in the basket, no matter what team, and that was the moment when everybody started to hate her. That was around the time of the day when everything changed again, the day before Valentines day, there had been signs all over the  school for a month, Hot Seat, with Stargirl as the guest. That was the night, I would never forget. I was the Chico for hot seat, now for the people who don't know, the Chico is the handheld camera man. The following Hot Seat was never to be shown to anyone, in fact, we burned the tape right after it was finished. It would be too long to describe it all, so I'm just giving you a quick overview. The show started pretty well, everything went normal, with a few jokes, etc, until the interview started, They humiliated her and somehow, I suddenly understood why they were all angry at her. After Hot Seat, at the next day, Valentine's day, there was a basketball match. Stargirl ended up with a Tomato in her face. On the next day, I found out that Leo, a guy from my class got a Valentine's card from Stargirl. And the next thing I know, was that they were dating, they were in there little wonder world. After Valentine's day, the shunning started. Everybody ignored her, at first just her, then Leo too. The next thing I know is that suddenly one day Stargirl was gone and Susan was there. Just like that, I don't know why, but probably because the shunning started to get on the nerves. Susan was just like a normal girl from the outside, but on the inside, she was still Stargirl, and that's why the shunning didn't stop, so after a few days she went back to Stargirl, with the motto: Enjoy your life. The next upcoming event was the Ocotillo ball.

Tue, 26 Apr 2011 23:01:00 -0700 A new flair comes to school... individuality http://moe112.posterous.com/a-new-flair-comes-to-school-individuality http://moe112.posterous.com/a-new-flair-comes-to-school-individuality

Hi Blog,

sorry that I didn't write to you in such a long time, but there were a lot of things going on in school these days, it has been quite a few weeks since Stargirl came to our school, and things had become worse since then, she still sang Birthday songs to other people, brang her rat to school, but the students didn't really appreciate. In that time, I heard a student from our grade, Kevin, talk to his best friend Leo, he said said that Stargirl would not survive in this school very long, because the students from MAHS are like a rubber band, we could change for a while, but we would always come back to how we were. Though there are also some individuals in the school, but they are not that much different, because in the total, all the students are the same, we wear the same kind of clothes, we listen to the same music. Even our nerds are excepted and have an MAHS sign on them, but not Stargirl, she was totally different. It was like that about a week ago, until everything changed...

It all started when suddenly one afternoon, I was at the football game, where usually nobody came, but at  halftime, when the band started to play, something happened that I would never have expected. Stargirl came on the field, she danced to the music, twirled around the field, when the game started again, she still danced on the field. She hugged the footbal, etc. Then the policeman came and Stargirl ran off the field. Well, that was actually not what i wanted to tell, but ok. I was wanting to tell you, that there was a slow change within the school because of Stargirl. I started to realize it when a student behind me, Timon Morgan was suddenly starting to talk in class, what I also realized was that a student started to wear Hush Puppies instead of sneakers. Another one was that a girl with green toenails came to school and a boy with purple hair and I was starting to have a thought in my head, that suddenly individuality errupted.

Hi Blog,

It's me again, moe.

I'm writing to you today, because today, it was just a random morning when I walked in my homeroom, until the teacher read the register, and there was a new name, Stargirl Carraway. At first, I looked around to see who she was, and suddenly I saw her, Stargirl, this name echoed 20 times in my head when I saw her. She was as pretty as a a red rose in the moonlight (simile). She looked a bit strange, but still good, she wore an off-white dress, which was as whit as snow (hyperbole), so long, it covered her shoes. It had ruffles around the neck and cuffs. Her hair had  the color of sand (imagery) and it fell on her shoulders. Here eyes were as shiny as the moon at night (idiom). Then there was a ukulele strapped across her back. Later on I also saw her pet rat, cinnamon, and when I saw it, the rat waved to me (personification), and that was the point when I felt that she was going to make a difference in our school, she was totally different than anybody else in this school. At lunch time when she came in to the cafeteria, there was suddenly silence, just silence, everybody was staring at her. She just walked to an empty table and sat down. She pulled out her lunch and started to eat. The first thing I thought about after that was that Hillari Kimble, the unofficial she-leader of the school would kill her in the next view days, because Stargirl has already gained more power over the students than Hillari ever had. After that thought, a part came that I will never forget and that i would never have expected. Stargirl stood up, took her ukulele, strummed it and started to sing a song. She just randomly played on while she was picking up her bag and walked out of the cafeteria. Dead silence. Then suddenly, a boy from my class, Kevin stood up and shouted "Hot Seat! Coming Attraction-Stargirl!" and he slamed hi hands with the boy next to him, Leo. Which by the way looked like Cody Simpson (allusion).
